Some Rugged terrain (boulder navigation). This tour begins at Barnes & Noble Cafe in the Gallatin Valley Mall, Bozeman. Or we can pick you up at your hotel. You'll enjoy this off-road adventure, with a few stops to take in local flavor. Awesome views of the Madison Valley below... way below! This tour leaves later in the day to take full advantage of Big Sky sunsets and the fleeting light of the magic hour -- which often yields many wildlife sightings! CANYON CLIMBER :: 6 Hour Full Day : High Elevation. LIMITED BOOKINGS. Here's a nice adventure if you like to mix it up a little bit. We leave later in the day to take in the golden sundown, and climb up one of the steepest and most scenic trails we offer. We take you to an old aerial tram station at mountain's summit to drink in the beauty.... and then give you the option to soak in a wild, native hot spring as the fire flies dance in the twilight. We limit this tour to 12 trips per season! These are special places we don't share with too many folks. After you've experienced it... you'll know why. So book early! Swimsuits optional. BEYOND-n-BACK LOOP :: 8 Hour FULL Day. Moderate Elevation. Retrace the route and re-count the history of The Montana 'Jawbone' Railroad through portions of Sixteenmile Canyon. This tour visits all the areas included in the Out-n-Back, and continues further down the line to Ringling. Visit the mining country responsible for the development of this historic railroad, ghost towns of past prosperity, two historic railway stations, and one of the few remaining electric sub-stations along the Milwaukee Road. This is one of the favorites among railroad historians and enthusiasts.
